Bibi Visits US as Israel Launches Assault

Israel has launched a new ground assault in the southern Gazan city of Khan Younis, resulting in 121 Palestinian deaths and forcing thousands to evacuate. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reduced the size of the "humanitarian zone" and ordered civilians to leave eastern neighborhoods of Khan Younis, citing intelligence about Hamas presence in the area. The UN Human Rights Office criticized the evacuation order as confusing and inadequate. As Palestinians fled, they expressed anger towards Israel, Hamas, and other Arab states for lack of support. The death toll continues to rise, with hospitals struggling to cope with the influx of injured civilians. Netanyahu is scheduled to address the US congress today. Large protests are are underway in Washington D.C. in anticipation of the Israeli PM's visit.
